T-Mobile Burglary & Bike Thefts

Tampa Police detectives are looking for 2 people who broke into and robbed the T-Mobile at 19024 Bruce B. Downs Boulevard in Tampa last Friday. The incident happened on August 23, 2013 at 6:43 a.m. The thieves stole a huge amount of phones and cases. The suspects wore long sleeves, gloves and ski-masks. Detectives need your help to arrest them. If you have information about this case, you are urged to contact Crimestoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS or text a tip to 274637. Include the CSTB in front of your tip. All information is anonymous. Tips that lead to an arrest are eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 in cash.

Tampa Police also report in an increase in bike thefts. Recently officers conducted a bait bike operation. They set up a bike and within minutes, suspects took the bikes and were arrested. Police remind bike owners to lock up their bicycles, close garage doors and register your bicycle with the Tampa Police Department. If you are a victim of bicycle theft, police say you will have a better chance of getting them back. For some bicycle owners, their bike is their only way of transportation.
