Daylight Savings Time ends officially at 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 3rd. So before you go to bed Saturday night, turn your clocks back one hour to get that extra hour of sleep. It’s also a good time to replace the batteries in your smoke detectors. Arizona and Hawaii do not observe Daylight Savings Time. Their clocks never change in the Fall and Spring. Countries like Mexico turned back their clocks a week ago.
Florida state senator Daren Soto (D-Orlando) wants to end Daylight Savings Time permanently in the Sunshine State. Soto filed the Sunshine Protection Act in August this year, but the state legislature did not act on it.
