Tampa Bay Veterans Parade


Thousands of visitors came out to see the annual Tampa Bay Veterans Parade in Town and County in Tampa Saturday morning. Over 60 marching and rolling units went down Hanley Road between Barry Road and Paula Drive. Judi, a parade visitor, attended to thank and honor the service men and women. The parade is one of the largest in Florida this Veterans Day weekend. Volunteers also handed out patriotic beads and flags to visitors. Colonel Scott V. DeThomas, commander of the 6th Air Mobility Wing was the grand marshal with honoree Cpl. Robert “Scott” Carr.
