Tropical Storm Arthur

The National Hurricane Center and National Weather Service have issued a tropical storm warning and watches for Florida’s Atlantic/East coast. As of 8 p.m. EST, Tropical Storm Arthur’s center was described as “meandering east of the coast of Florida” by the National Hurricane Center. The storm is stationary and located at 27.8 N and 79.3 W with maximum sustained winds of 50 mph. The tropical storm watches and warnings extend from Fort Pierce to Flagler Beach. Local meteorologists say the storm will have little impact on Tampa Bay area weather.
