Veterans Day Ceremony 2014

Several hundred people attended the Veterans Day Ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park in Hillsborough County this morning. Keith Carpenter brought his family to teach his children about good citizenship and to honor America’s military men and women, who have served.

Carpenter with his son, Kurtis, on his shoulders served as a U.S. Marine during Operation Desert Storm from Oct. 1991-1995.

James Valentine wearing a Ft. Hood, Texas shirt came for his daughter serving in South Korea and his son serving in Afghanistan.

Veterans 0f America’s wars, those Missing in Action, POWs and generations of young and older military families were all honored today as Americans said thank you to them for their sacrifices and service.
