Florida House District 64 Election Unofficial Results

Special Election 018

Here are the unofficial results of the Special Election, House District 64  from Gerry Kramer, PIO, Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections Office:

 James W. Grant — 3,933 votes

Write-In:  411 votes

Voter turnout:   5.64 %

Polls opened April 21, 2015 for the Florida House District 64 Election.  Former State House Representative James W. Grant was the only candidate on the ballot and ran mostly unopposed for another 2 year term.  Last year, the Florida House rejected the November 2014 election results in which Grant won. It was due to a legal dispute over a candidate who did not reside in the district, which covers mostly the Carrollwood area of Hillsborough County.  Governor Rick Scott called for the special election to be held.
