These survivors of Nepal’s worst earthquake in 80 years sit on the rubble yesterday. The massive quake struck Saturday at Kathmandu. NBC News reports the death toll has risen to over 4,400 and continues to rise. On Monday, the U.S. State Department said at least 4 Americans were killed at the Mount Everest base camp, according to the Associated Press.
Two teams of U.S. Army Green Berets were in Nepal when the deadly earthquake hit on April 25th. They are staying to help with rescue and relief efforts, according to the Pentagon.
