Egg Roll King Restaurant Fire in Tampa

The Tampa Fire Marshall’s report says the fire at the Egg Roll King Restaurant caused $310,000 in damage to the building and contents inside, according to local news media reports. The FM’s report also says the fire started at 3:39 a.m. on June 19th from an undetermined source in the attic of the restaurant at 2510 N. 50th Street in Tampa. When they arrived, firefighters found flames and heavy smoke from the northwest corner of the building. They were able to get the fire under control at 4:47 a.m. last Friday. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. The property is owned by Prasad Inc. of Tampa, according to the Hillsborough County Property Appraiser’s Office.
