Identity theft also may be involved with these July 4, 2015 fraudulent purchases.

Bank of America customers had  a 25 to 45 minute wait on the phone the Monday after the July 4th weekend to report fraudulent purchases on their debit or credit cards.  BOA claims says it is experiencing a high volume of calls today.  Be sure to check your debit and credit card purchases and report any suspicious purchases to your bank or financial institution as soon as possible after this holiday weekend.
