ABC’s “Fresh Off The Boat” returns for another season. The season premiere is Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 8:30 p.m. Eastern Time, 7:30 p.m. Central Time.

The hilarious comedy is about the Huangs, a Taiwanese-Chinese family’s move from Chinatown in Washington, DC. to Orlando in 1995 and fitting in.  The show is loosely based on the memoir of Eddie Huang, currently a chef and owner of an Asian restaurant in New York.  His parents,  Louis and Jessica Huang, in the comedy own a financially struggling restaurant, “Cattelman’s Ranch” in Orlando. During the first season, the immigrant family goes through culture shock and adapts to American life while sticking to their Asian heritage and values.

oThe Orlando Sentinel reports the Huangs owned a Cattleman’s Steakhouse. The 1995 building at 8801 International Drive in Orlando was sold in May 2014, according to Orange County Property Appraiser’s Office records. The site is now a Hooters restaurant.  “Fresh Off The Boat” is filmed in Los Angeles, California.
