In the above photos, a quiet picturesque Fall-like scene of a lake. It’s actually water with no place to go at this pond at the University of South Florida in Tampa due to record rainfall in July and August. Early Saturday morning temperatures were comfortable, but the humidity returned by 11:30 a.m. today.
During this warm Labor Day weekend, many also cooled off by heading indoors. Families visited the educational fish aquarium at the Bass Outdoor Pro Shop in Brandon. The sporting goods store also is serving free hot dogs Saturday and Sunday outside the store from Noon to 4 p.m. to Labor Day weekend visitors.
For Sunday, the National Weather Service forecasts a 20-50% increasing chance of rain through the day, partly sunny with scattered thunderstorms later in the day for the Tampa Bay area. High temperature around 88 degrees with low temperature around 74 degrees. Best to get out early Sunday for any outdoor activities.
For Labor Day, the National Weather Service forecasts a 50% rain chance with temperatures in the upper 80’s. Scattered thunderstorms also will be around during the day and evening. Low temperatures in the mid-70’s.
