Huge Bicycle Theft in Brandon

Some bicycle thieves broke into the King Cycles Bike Shop in Brandon on Sunday night and took 30-35 mountain bikes worth $100,000, local news media report.  The  Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office says it happened September 27, 2015 at 11 :35 p.m.  at the Kings Cycles Bike Shop, 733 Lumsden Road in Brandon. Surveillance video  showed one of the suspects. He’s described as a white male, 5’7″, 230 lbs , heavy set with a large belly, red or brown short hair. This suspect on video was last seen wearing a camouflage hat, a blue bandana on his face, black jeans, a green long sleeve shirt and black sneakers.

It’s unknown what direction or what vehicle the suspects fled the shop, but it’s believed they used a box truck or trailer to load the stolen mountain bicycles.
