Green on the Screen returns to Water Works Park along Tampa’s Hillsborough River on Saturday night, October 3rd. Families can enjoy free, classic spooky films under the stars every Saturday night in October. The outdoor movies start at 7:30 p.m. and open seating starts at 6 p.m. Popcorn, food and drinks also will be available for purchase from the Tampa’s Parks and Recreations. A food truck also will be at Water Works Park. The movies will be shown on a large, inflatable screen.
Admission is free. No alcohol is allowed. Family and friends can bring lawn chairs, picnic baskets, coolers, blankets and well-behaved dogs on leashes to enjoy the films. Here’s the movie lineup on these Saturday nights in October:
Oct. 3 – Ghostbusters
Oct. 10 – Hotel Transylvania
Oct. 17 – The Goonies
Oct. 24- Frankenweenies
Water Works Park is located at 1710 N. Highland Street in Tampa, just south of I-275, along the Hillsborough River.
