Suspects Arrested in Convenience Store Robberies

St. Petersburg Police report 3 people have been arrested in connection with a string of seven armed robberies at convenience stores across the bay area.  Officers from Clearwater, Largo, Pinellas Park, St. Petersburg, Tampa Police Departments and the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office worked together to find and arrest the suspects. St. Petersburg detectives identified the main suspects.  The multi-agency task force was able to find two of the suspects. The suspects were caught Tuesday night and early this  morning in Clearwater.

Dwight Deloren Neal, 20, was arrested at 10:51 p.m. Tuesday while walking near Palm Terrace and Hibiscus Avenue in Clearwater.  Brandon William Vicks, 21, was arrested at 12:15 a.m. in a stolen car at Belcher Road and Drew St. in Clearwater.  Officers also arrested a 14-year-old boy this afternoon.   They are questioning a fourth suspect.
