Super Appetizers

Super Appetizers 005 Super Appetizers 009

If you’re watching the Super Bowl Game or only the Half Time Show with your family and friends, here are a few appetizer recipes:

Avocado Dip

1 ripe Avocado

1 tablespoon chopped onion

1/2 chopped tomato

2-3 teaspoons Lime Juice

2-3 dashes Salt

Cut Avocado in half and hand-squeeze out the avocado pulp inside.  We also leave the seed with our avocado dip. Add and mix rest of the ingredients. Serve fresh or refrigerate until ready to serve.

Cinnamon Honey Tortilla Chips –  Mix melted butter, honey and cinnamon together. Brush over tortilla chips and broil for 2-3 minutes until crispy.

Serve with your favorite Chicken Wings or try this recipe:

1/2 dozen chicken wings

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

3-4 dashes red pepper  (use more if you like wings spicier)

1/2 teaspoon sugar

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon rice wine

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 egg

1 tablespoon corn starch

2 tablespoons flour

Mix all ingredients together. Marinate 1 hour in the refrigerator.  Fry in oil 8-10 minutes over medium to medium low heat. Turn wings over while frying in skillet. Check one wing to see if cooked thoroughly.  If not, continue frying or you can bake wings at 350 degrees for 20 minutes until ready to serve.
