Spring Oak Tree Pollen 001 Spring Oak Tree Pollen 002

For  spring allergy sufferers, this season has been a long one of sneezing, runny noses, eyes tearing and coughing. As April 2016 winds down, the live oak trees are starting to crank out yellow crunchy stems and drop leaves (their second cycle of pollen) into May, according to local lawn and landscape contractors. In Tampa, Florida the pollen forecast is 7.3 today and 7.4 Saturday (the medium high range). The main allergens are oak trees, bayberry and grasses.
