West Virginia and Nebraska Primary Results

Bernie Sanders won the West Virginia Democratic Primary, but both Sanders and Clinton got delegates. Donald Trump won the West Virginia and Nebraska Republican primaries on Tuesday, May 10, 2016.

Here are the results with 100% precincts reporting:

West Virginia

Democratic Primary

Bernie Sanders     123,860        51.4% of the vote        18 delegates

Hillary Clinton      86,354         35.8% of the vote        11 delegates

Republican Primary

Donald Trump         156,245         70% of the vote       30 delegates

Ted Cruz                     18,208           9% of the vote          0 delegates

John Kasich               13,685           6.7% of the vote        0 delegates

Nebraska Republican Primary  

Donald Trump          121,287          61.4% of the vote     36 delegates

Ted Cruz                       36,418          18.4% of the vote       0 delegates

John Kasich                 22,526          11.4% of the vote        0 delegates

Trump is the presumptive nominee with 1,134 delegates – still short of the 1,237 needed to win the Republican Party nomination. Cruz and Kasich dropped out of the Republican presidential race.

Clinton has 2,240 delegates.  Sanders has 1,473 delegates. 2,383 delegates are needed for the Democratic Party’s nomination.
