Here’s a preview of the November 8, 2016 ballot in Hillsborough County (Tampa, Florida). It is 3 pages long. Registered voters in 37 precincts also will have Community Development District (CDD) and Homeowner Association (HOA) races and issues to decide on their ballots.
Florida’s voter registration deadline also has been extended to October 18, 2016. A federal judge extended the deadline another week after Democrats argued an extension was needed due to Hurricane Matthew.
Registered Florida voters can cast their ballots now at Supervisor of Elections offices, vote by mail, vote at any polling site in the state during Early Voting (Oct. 24-Nov. 6th) or vote in the precinct where they live on Election Day, November 8, 2016 for United States president/vice president, federal, state, local races and amendments.
Polls open 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Eastern Time in Florida on Tuesday, November 8th. Registered voters must present valid photo and signature identification at the polling place to cast a ballot now through November 8th.
If you choose to vote on the last day of the election, November 8th, you must be in line by 7 p.m., Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections staff say.
