Happy New Year!

As many celebrate 2017 and a New Year today, local law enforcement and public health departments advise everyone to celebrate responsibly  (non-alcoholic beverages encouraged) and don’t drink and drive. Since New Year’s Day is on Sunday, many also will have Monday off. Federal, state and local offices and public health offices will be closed on Monday, January 2nd. Some will reopen on Tuesday, January 3, 2017.

“Celebrating with fireworks are allowed in Harris County, but not within Houston City limits,” said Houston Police Officer Moore at the Central Police Station, which is open 24 hours a day. Moore said celebratory gunfire is not allowed.

From our home to yours, we wish you and your family a healthy, safe, blessed, joyful and prosperous New Year!
