Subway Worker Murder

The Houston Police Department is asking the public’s help to find 2 male suspects who came into a Subway restaurant to rob it and killed an employee on Wednesday night. It happened at the 3933 Broadway on February 22nd around 8:45 p.m.  Javier Flores and his mother worked together at the Subway when the suspects came in and threatened her with a gun.  Flores intervened and he was shot while trying to save his mother. Paramedics took him to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The two male suspects are believed to be 16-20 years old and driving a tan or gold 4-d00r sedan.  The suspected shooter is described as a Black Male, 5 feet 10 inches tall with a slim build.

If you have any information leading to the arrest of the suspects involved, you’re asked to call 713–222-TIPS.  You can remain anonymous.  Crimestoppers has increased the reward up to $30,000.
