Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need your help to catch the suspects responsible for robberies that happened the afternoons of July 11 and July 12, 2017 in Houston and Bellaire, Texas.

Houston Police say that a black Honda Accord pulled up behind a woman’s car in the parking lot at 7001 Long in Houston. The woman got out the driver’s side door and was helping her child with the seat belt.  The incident happened on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 1:30 PM.  A man got out of the rear passenger door of the black Honda and then opened the driver’s side door of the woman’s car and took her purse. The suspect fled the scene in the black Honda Accord.

Around 30 minutes later on July 11, 2017 at 2:07 PM,  a woman was robbed after parking her car at 10632 Kingspoint, in Houston and after getting a money order from a PLS cash checking business off of Monroe and I45.  The woman ran into a nail salon for a few minutes and went back to her car.  As she was getting into her vehicle, a black Honda Accord pulled up behind her. A male got out of Honda Accord, broke the window or the woman’s car and took her purse from her. The woman suffered minor injuries as she tried to get control of her purse.  The robber overpowered her and fled the scene in the black Honda Accord with the woman’s purse. (HPD case #875112-17)
