Asian Pacific Heritage Month – Dr. Devesh Upadhya

As the Memorial Day weekend starts, Dr. Devesh Upadhya is seeing patients at the Medical Clinic of Houston. Dr. Upadhya specializes in Internal Medicine.  He graduated with a B.S. Pre-Medicine from Pennsylavania State University in 2010 and got his M.D. degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia in 2013.  While in medical school,  Upadhya was elected to the Gold Humanism Honor Society and Alpha Omega Alpha in 2011.

Dr. Upadhya completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston in 2017. He also was recognized as Continuity Clinic Chief Resident and Distinguished Resident Educator in 2017.

On this busy Friday, Dr. Upadhya talked about his Indian-American heritage, becoming a doctor and living in America.
