Crazy Rich Asians

The long-awaited “Crazy Rich Asians” opens today, August 15th in theaters across the country.  Above, the official movie trailer.

The 2-hour romantic, fun comedy has an all Asian cast and is directed by Jon M. Chu.  The PG-13 rated film. The book’s author, Kevin Kwan lived in Clearlake, Texas after his father, an engineer, moved the family from Singapore.

People who have seen it say “Crazy Rich Asians” is an entertaining “Must See” film for everyone. KTRK-TV reports the movie is sold out at some theaters or people have rented theaters for showings of “Crazy Rich Asians.”

“Crazy Rich Asians” is showing in select Houston area theaters.  If you are going to see it with family, friends or have a CRA watch party, “Google Search” daily on where and times  you can see this romantic comedy in local theaters.  And yes, it’s OK to wear Asian, dress up or dress casual for this film.
