Shivering Temperatures in Houston Area

The Houston area is freezing this morning.  Temperatures are hovering at 32 degrees or below. A freeze warning is in effect through 9 a.m. Central Time today. The NWS daytime forecast high temperature is 49 degrees, sunny and 32 degrees with clear skies tonight. Protect yourself, home, property, plants and pets during this period of shivering, cold weather.

.DAY ONE…Tonight

Sub-freezing temperatures are possible again tonight. Because
most of Southeast Texas is expected to see temperatures at or
below freezing early this morning, no freeze watch or warning has
been issued. For any areas that do not reach freezing this morning
and are expected to reach freezing tonight, an additional freeze
warning will be issued today.”
