Memorial Area Restaurant Fire

Houston Fire Department put out a restaurant fire in the City Centre Memorial area.  The fire happened on January 5, 2019  around 12:49 p.m. at 822 Town and Country Lane, the HFD reports.  The fire caused an estimated $150,000 in damage.

Arson investigators continue to look for what caused the fire.

Firefighters found smoke coming from the roof of the restaurant. They found a fire in the duct work above the first floor and opened up the ventilation system to put out the fire. The HFD says crews from Stations 2, 78, 83, 49, 57, 69, 77, 75 and the Village Fire Department responded.
